Introduction to Carlson Automated Recruiting System (CARS)
This demo will give you a brief overview of the features of the Carlson Automated Recruiting System (CARS).

External Job Postings
This demo will show you how to create an External Job Posting using CARS. The posting will go live on CARS after it is reviewed by the Carlson Business Career Center. It will remain available for students or alumni to view online for up to 30 days. You can extend it, or close it early if you wish.

On-Campus Postings
If you would like to post a position and come on campus to interview for that position, you may want to consider an On-Campus Posting. Creating an on-campus posting is a two step process.

  • Creating an On-Campus Posting

    • Date Selection Form
First you send us your desired dates, how many student you would like to interview for this position, and a couple of further details. We work with you to select a date that works for us both.

    • Recruiting Information Form
Once we have agreed on a date, the next step of creating on On-Campus Job Posting on CARS is filling in the details. You tell us the job description, if it is full time or an internships, required qualifications, etc. This begins an online hiring process where you can have us select the candidates, or you can review them yourself online. Interviews are held at the Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis.

  • On-Campus Postings Page
This is a brief overview of using the On-Campus Postings page on CARS. Once you have submitted a posting to us, this page will keep you informed of where we are in the posting cycle, and what your next step is. Check it often.

  • Online Candidate Selection
This demo will walk you through a sample candidate selection. Once students have expressed an interest in your posting, you can go online and make your selections for candidates you would like to interview.

  • Viewing Interview Schedules
This demo will walk you through how to view interview schedules. After you make your candidate selections online, those students will sign up on the schedule. You can view the schedule to see how full it is, or who has signed up for what time slot.
